Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
DailyWordleAnswers.com publishes the daily Wordle answer, hints and reviews of daily puzzle games. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
Data stored on your device
The site saves a few things in your browser’s local storage: whether you revealed today’s answer, word meanings and a word list it has already downloaded (so they load faster next time), and the star rating you gave a review, if any. This data never leaves your device, and you can delete it by clearing your browser’s site data.
Ratings and share counts
When you rate a review or press a share button, the site adds one to an anonymous counter hosted by the free Abacus counting service (abacus.jasoncameron.dev). No identifier or personal data is sent with it, although, like any web request, the service can see your IP address and browser type.
Word data
Answers come from our own database. Word meanings come from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA), and the list of possible answers used for the “why it was tricky” notes is loaded from our sister site Wordle.gg. These requests contain no personal data.
Analytics and server logs
We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views. Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers keep short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page and time) for security and to keep the site running.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser downloads them.
Cookies and advertising
The site itself does not set cookies and does not show advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Children
The site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
